While he enjoyed the challenges of running his own firm, Hans’ search for a team environment where he could help his clients in a more comprehensive way led him to Eagle Wealth.

“Taxes are an integral part of the financial planning process.  I’m thrilled to be at a firm that not only understands the importance of tax planning but also figured out how to integrate it with their financial plans,” says Hans.  “Comprehensive planning such as this is so valuable at every stage of life and can save clients money on taxes now and in the long run.  Not to mention add a greater peace of mind”

Jake Springer

Financial Associate

Jake, originally from Newberg, Oregon, had a lifelong connection to Central Oregon, often visiting Sunriver for family vacations.  His love for the outdoors – hiking, skiing, and playing basketball – drew him to the region.

Graduating from Oregon State University in 2017 with a BS in Finance and a minor in Economics, Jake entered the financial planning field. His early career at Northwestern Mutual focused on risk management and insurance planning, which he describes as the “defensive side of financial planning.”

Jake’s passion lies in educating clients about their financial situations, empowering them to make informed choices.  He believes that having a solid financial plan eliminates fear from dictating decision making.

Hannah Webster

Client Experience Coordinator

Hannah was born and raised the oldest of three daughters in a small town near Burlington, Vermont.  After earning her degree in Psychology at the University of Vermont, she worked as a Site and Event Coordinator for Baystate Financial, which gave her insight into the workings of a large financial firm.

Hannah’s father is a financial advisor, so working in financial planning has always felt a little bit like home for her.  She understands the importance of planning at a young age and enjoys learning ways to become successful.

Hannah has a very social nature.  She loves getting to know people and their stories.  Her need for a change of scenery persuaded her to take a cross-country road trip, which brought her to Bend, and she never wanted to leave!

“Moving 3,000 miles away from home wasn’t easy.  Working for EWM has provided me that sense of community that all humans need to grow and thrive,” says Hannah.  “I love getting to know our local clients and have gotten so many good recommendations for exploring the area.”

Her love for efficiency and technology makes her a great fit as our Client Experience Coordinator.  Hannah also loves photography, writing prose and short stories, hiking, live music, horror films, road trips, and hosting dinner parties.

Fun Fact:  Hannah is a 9th generation Vermonter.  One of her life goals is to visit all 50 states before she turns 30 – only 6 more states to go!

Wendy Kottke

Operations/Marketing Director

Early in her career, Wendy had the chance to interview financial advisors to discover why they love what they do. She would then create videos showcasing their stories and passions. It always resonated with her when they'd share something like, "I take it very personally and do everything I can to ensure that when someone tells me, 'This is everything I have, please help me make it last for the rest of my life,' I do whatever I can to make that dream happen." What a cool industry!

After earning her associate degree in accounting and bachelor’s degree in management and communication, Wendy started work in accounting. But she quickly realized she needed more interaction with people than with numbers. Wendy found herself chatting with the mailman every day just to have someone to talk to! Her next role was in communications for a large corporation, which brought her closer to her dream. For 17 years after that, Wendy worked in marketing and business development in the financial services industry, which is also when she met Chad and Cami! She eventually transitioned solely to business development and strategy. Now, at Eagle Wealth, she can work on business development and strategy while also adding back the marketing, which checks all the boxes for her.

It's so cool to see how much joy the EWM team finds in their work; it feels like caring hearts focused on helping people,” boasts Wendy.

She was born and raised in Greenville, Wisconsin and made the "big move" ten minutes west to Hortonville when she bought her home. The amazing man in her life, Steve, makes her smile and laugh every day, and she’s so thankful. They have five grown children:  Justin, Brooke, Megan, Allison, and Emma. They also are thrilled to be grandparents of a beautiful, little granddaughter, Aurora.

Fun fact:  Wendy finds chaos and change enjoyable—for some crazy reason!

She feels financial planning is important for every family to consider at any stage of their lives.  “Family is very important to me.  Everyone at Eagle Wealth is so welcoming and caring that I feel very much a part of their family as well,” acknowledges Jaclyn.  “They truly care about their clients and team members.”

Miranda Nusbaum

HR/IT/Bookkeeper

Miranda's journey has its unique twists. She was part of our team for a couple years but took a break to prioritize her very young children with a schedule that better fit her family life. Miranda assured us she'd return to our team one day, and we never doubted it. Now, with her kids a bit older and a new remote setup, we're absolutely thrilled to welcome her back!

"It's wonderful returning to Eagle Wealth," exclaimed Miranda. "This firm genuinely cares for both its clients and its team members—it's what makes it so special."

Miranda makes our days a little bit brighter with her warmth and positive attitude. She’s a go-getter with ambition, an open mind, and a strong desire to learn.  Her years of customer service and organizational experience are a huge asset, and her dedication to family values makes her a perfect fit for our team.

Raised in Central Oregon, Miranda fast-tracked her career in the medical field, starting as an administrative assistant.  Through commitment and perseverance, Miranda climbed to managerial roles and discovered a passion for human resources, where she can help manage and optimize an organization’s greatest asset:  it’s people.  While she enjoyed healthcare, she’s excited to make the move back to a professional office setting.

Miranda fills her weekends with quality family time with her high school sweetheart, Brett, and their two young children.  Amidst the whirlwind of kids' sports and activities—soccer matches, wrestling meets, and competitive dance practices—Miranda still manages to carve out time to volunteer as the board Secretary for the local non-profit soccer academy.

When she's not wrangling kids, you can find Miranda enjoying Central Oregon by kayak or recreational quad ATV.

Fun Fact:  Every year, Miranda takes part in the Gambler 500, a trail cleanup competition. Participants drive cars valued at less than $500 through wilderness areas, hunting for trash to collect, all while hoping they don’t break down!

Mike DeRosa

Compliance Officer

Mike DeRosa entered the financial services profession in 1999 and soon discovered his talent for compliance at the nation’s 7th largest broker-dealer network.  Working at SII Investments, our former broker-dealer, he first met Chad and Cami in 2008 as they launched Eagle Wealth Management.  For almost 15 years, Mike was the Assistant Vice President of Compliance, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer for two firms supervising over 1000 advisors representing over 10 billion in RIA assets. Since leaving the corporate world, he’s worked as a compliance consultant and Chief Compliance Officer at other firms.

“For nine years at my prior job I had the pleasure of working with Chad and his team, watching Eagle Wealth Management develop into the premiere firm it is today.  I jumped at the opportunity to join this firm where I can actually help clients and advisors at an individual level — something pretty difficult to do in corporate level compliance.”

Mike’s extensive experience in compliance helps our firm navigate today’s regulatory environment and ensures our firm meets its obligations to our clients and regulators.  He proactively looks above and beyond the SEC requirements, working to stay on top of regulatory changes and training our team.  Mike’s busy behind the scenes so we can focus on what’s most important — guiding you along your financial journey.

Mike was born and raised in the Bronx, New York.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and now resides in Oklahoma. When he’s not writing procedures, monitoring accounts, or analyzing paperwork and surveillance reports, Mike enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, and travel.

Fun fact :  When Mike lived in Wisconsin, he made maple syrup from the trees on his property.
